Description:
SCP-096 appears in the form of handcrafted Cedarwood Tea Tree Cold Process Soap, precut into a 1" thick bar. Each individual bar weighs approximately 4.8 oz.

Originally manufactured within U.S. borders, SCP-096 was first recovered from a small-scale bath goods facility following reports of “unexplainably refreshing cleanliness.” The entity emits a subtle blend of Cedarwood and Tea Tree essential oils, noted to induce calm focus and olfactory satisfaction.

While chemical analysis reveals no anomalous hazards, Foundation researchers have confirmed that exposure to SCP-096’s aroma may cause subjects to enter a heightened state of hygiene awareness, often resulting in routine handwashing, deep relaxation, or the verbal utterance “A shower sounds nice right about now.”
